Don't pay the ransom!

No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, honest! I had no idea there was so much to do for someone's estate.

Fortunately, Mom was really organized with her finances. Too bad she wasn't equally organized in her house! It's taking weeks to sort through her personal items to get ready for the appraiser. We're making headway, but it's really slow going.

I've been teaching needle-felting classes between trips to Mom's house and the women's shelter in town. The classes are really fun! I'll post photos of some jewelry pieces tomorrow.

Whew! I was really beginning to wonder about you! If I hadn't heard from you about Earth Safe, I may have paid what they were asking . . . . Hugs!

LOL! Thanks Beth.

I'm still digging out from under the piles o' STUFF! DH and I took about 12 trash bags of sheets, blankets, tote bags, purses, scarves, slippers, and clothes to the women's shelter this morning (the second trip in two weeks).

Lori and I have plowed through all four closets in the house. There are a few more sets of book shelves and a dresser or two—and we haven't even started on the kitchen yet!

That sounds like quite a large undertaking - I don't envy you one bit! Glad you can find people who can use the things you don't need, that makes it a bit easier.

I did get my Earth Safe Finishes trials underway today, so we'll see how they come out. I got the fabric treated, waiting for it to dry in this muggy weather. Might take days!! I went out and took pictures of some flowers in my yard to use as test subjects, lots of color.

So far, looking good!
hugs!
